The Hilo Farmers Market is a must-see experience when you are on the Big Island.

Over 200 local farmers and crafters sell their produce, crafts, gift items and tropical flowers in a festive outdoor atmosphere that recalls back to the old “plantation” days of early Hilo.

Located at the corner of Mamo Street and Kamehameha Avenue in historic downtown Hilo, it’s open all year round

The Hawai’i County Economic Opportunity Council (HCEOC) is partnering with the Hilo Farmers Market to provide Fresh Produce or Honey, grown in Hawaii to Low Income Seniors and Disabled Persons.

The Hilo Farmers Market Manager’s Office is open Wednesday and Saturday
6:00 am – 2:30 pm.

EBT scrip can be purchased and redeemed during these hours.

Also, taro, bananas and other produce is available, along with Hilo Farmers’ Market logo t-shirts, caps and other gift items.
