Since 1980, the Burlington Farmers Market has been held every Saturday from late spring through autumn in downtown Burlington’s City Hall Park, just off of the Church Street Marketplace.
More than 90 stands overflow with seasonal produce, flowers, artisan wares, prepared foods, and more.
People gather to wander around, chat with growers and friends, and fill their baskets with the best food.
Like many places in Burlington, dogs are always welcome but must be kept on a leash.
WINTER INDOOR FARMERS MARKET
With the fortune of having so many farms and studios nearby paired with a growing interest in buying locally, the Burlington Farmers Market opened in 2008.
Inside the University of Vermont’s DUDLEY H. DAVIS CENTER you can find over 50 vendors.
Sheltered from the snowy Vermont weather, this indoor marketplace bustles with locals and visitors.
Each market features songs, sounds, and laughs from a variety of talented musicians, songwriters, and performers.
Check back again as we continue to add performers to both the summer and winter markets.
We are also very excited to welcome Kadina Malicbegovic, owner of Little Artsy Faces to the market.
Kadina is an unbelievably talented artist so be sure and check out her talents in the Mt Mansfield Room.
