Kyilla Community Farmers Market is located at Kyilla Park on Clieveden Street, North Perth (between Charles and Walcott Streets) adjacent to Kyilla Primary School.
Kyilla Primary School’s P&C Association in North Perth initiated the vision for a Farmers Market.
The market provides an opportunity for the school community to engage and support the local community.
It is a weekly event where local farmers can bring their fresh produce direct from the farm.
The aim of the Kyilla Community Farmers Market is to engage and strengthen community spirit.
Kyilla Community Farmers Market provides the opportunity to do your weekly grocery shopping.
Additionally, talk to your neighbours over a cup of coffee prepared by a local barista.
You also get to speak with the person who produced the food you will be taking home to eat.
Moreover,expose your family to the range of good seasonal produce locally available and through this you get to support your local school, businesses and community.
Another initiative of the P&C Association is the Bacon & Egg Wrap Stall.
A dedicated team of volunteer parents manage this stall and is run on a fortnightly basis by parents from Kyilla Primary School.
The fresh quality ingredients used to make this delicious bacon & egg wrap are sourced directly from the Kyilla Community Market Stalls.
Whilst the tasty Picante Sauce is home made by Kyilla parents.
Kyilla Park facilities include public toilets, a playground, fitness course and bbqs.
Remember animals need to be on a lead at all times.
